Dr. Rosemary O.Odocha, Founder, CEO, and President at Braved Behavioral Health Institute, specializes in psychiatry in the Saint Petersburg, Florida area. She holds a medical degree with over 23 years of experience in the field of medicine and is dedicated to personalized addiction recovery. Dr. Rosemary O.Odocha provides services in aspects of behavioral health: child adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatry. Penn State University School of Medicine, Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Rafael Beltran Durango MD is a practicing Neurologist as a Psychiatry specialist in St. Petersburg, Florida. He received his medical degree from University De Antioquia, Fac De Med in 1989 and completed his residency at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn. He has been in practice for more than 29 years neurology and psychiatry. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He joined the team at Transformations By The Gulf in 2016 and is dedicated to individualized addiction recovery.

Dr. Herbert Gersh is a physiatrist in Treasure Island, Florida. He received his medical degree from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and has been in practice for more than 20 years. A physiatrist are physicians who specialize in helping patients with disabilities. His focus is rehabilitation, restoration of function and a return to a high quality of life. Subspecialties include General Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Julia began working in the field of alcoholism and drug addiction in the 1990s and received certification from the International Institute for Addiction Professionals in 1991. She became a Trauma Resolution Specialist in 2012. She has worked in many treatment centers, both nonprofit and private, in the United States and abroad. She has been with TBTG since 2011, where she is appreciated for her outstanding work with women recovering from alcoholism, drug addiction, and codependency.

With 8+ years of experience working in behavioral health services, my specialties include helping clients work through various life transitions, learning and improving self-care/work-life balance, and working with adolescent related stressors. My hope is that the counseling environment becomes a safe space where you feel not only understood, but also encouraged and empowered.

I counsel adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, self-worth, suicidal ideation, or have experienced trauma. I also teach parenting skills and address parent-child relational issues.  We can work together to help you find the coping skills and boundaries to live the life you were made for!

Joe Scarce is a registered board certified art therapist. Joe has a master’s degree in art therapy and marriage and family therapy. Joe has been providing art therapy services to families in the Tampa Bay area for over 15 years. As an Art Therapist, he provides art directives and art-making activities to increase insight into emotional conflicts. Art Therapy is an excellent way to share ideas, improve communication skills, and increase self- esteem.

Anthony “Tony” Harris has been a Certified Addictions Counselor for 7 years, a Behavioral Health Counselor for 18 years and a Sober Coach for 20 years. Clean and sober for 23 years, Tony has been a group facilitator for Department of Corrections coed group programs in the Tampa Bay area as well as managed sober living programs in the area. He is a group facilitator us at TBTG and specializes in dealing with addiction issues and relapse prevention.

Elizabeth McConnell was born in Long Beach, CA and raised in the beautiful state of North Carolina. Encouraged from childhood to lead an active lifestyle, Elizabeth excelled in organized sports as well as water-skiing and swimming. She studied Biology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and continues to build upon that foundation to this day by pursuing health and philosophy courses through local colleges, workshops and her love for in-depth research and reading.

David Wong Yee CH, Dipl. Ac. comes from New York State to Clearwater, Florida with over 35 years of experience in the Martial Arts & Healing Arts. His background includes certification from the William C.C. Chen School of Tai Chi Chuan and Herbal Therapies for clinical herbal studies in St. Petersburg, Florida. All renowned schools in New York, Connecticut, and Florida.
