Day Treatment with Community Housing (PHP) or (partial hospitalization program) is a type of outpatient care where patients participate in treatment sessions during the day and return home at night. Each program runs for several hours each day, three to five days per week.

What is Day Treatment with Community Housing (PHP)? A partial hospitalization program (PHP) can sometimes be referred to as day rehab. It allows someone seeking treatment to have the intensity of residential recovery programs, but to return to their own home at night. PHP has many of the same components of inpatient full-time residential programs and can be just as effective for the right candidate.

Think of PHP as the middle ground between full-time in-patient care and an outpatient program. You’ll spend several hours every day going over standard treatments and programs to help with your detox process and recovery. At the end of the day, you’d return to your own home and will return back to the program the next day. Some of these programs will include different types of therapy such as individual and group therapy, family therapy, music and art therapy, as well as support groups and counseling.

Each person has unique requirements in addiction treatment, but generally, an individual should seek a residential treatment program for addiction if he or she:

For those who require a more structured recovery experience, we offer partial day program treatment with separate housing for men and women which is walking distance to the beach. Individuals who choose to enroll in the day treatment community housing programs reside in our beautiful and tranquil community treatment housing while participating in structured addiction treatment groups and adjunct therapies. Each person will be individually assessed and given a personalized treatment plan which they continue to develop with their counselor during weekly individual counseling sessions.
