Awais Siddiki, M.D. leads our team of medical and behavioral health professionals. Dr. Siddiki believes that “the disease of addiction starts before a person picks up a drug, and the treatment starts when he or she comes out of detox.”
Dr. Siddiki graduated from the University of Massachusetts Family Medicine residency program in 2011 and completed his Internal Medicine internship at the Nassau University Medical Center in New York. He worked at SSTAR, a global leader in addiction treatment, in Fall River, MA for 3 years.
Dr. Siddiki sees the value in having a team of people provide primary care, behavioral health, and addiction services under one roof. He has seen this approach change the lives of many patients struggling with addiction. Dr. Siddiki wishes to make Transformations by the Gulf a place where individuals can feel at home and be honest about their addiction issues without guilt or shame.
